Big news is big! Also: Fall line is in the works!

Yeah yeah I know what you must be thinking, "Holy hell when is she just gonna open the store already!" WELLL, it goes like this: I had things ready to go and was waiting for the date of the sock hop (sorry about that) and lost that parcel of land. Which as it turned out was a GREAT thing. Not just because that parcel was SO very laggy and the customer service was bad (we won't name names here) ...but also because a very kind soul stepped forward and offered me a place on her own parcel which has given me so much more room and freedom. Overall, the new feel is.... perfect and everything I wanted it to be. This opening will be done RIGHT!

I am in the works and ALMOST done with the new building, then it will just be a matter of rezzing the vendors back out and stocking back up, AND creating! That's right,,,I'm also working on a new fall line AND SKINS to go along side of the opening. BUSY BUSY!

As if that wasn't enough, I'm running a special on my photography services down at the studio: 40% off all photography! LIMITED TIME ONLY!

Opening Celebration :: Sock Hop / Prom Event

It's Happening July 28th, 2012 at 7 pm SLT.

We will be celebrating the grand opening of our main store. All the while we will also be "crowning" our male and female "Face Of" Avici models. If you are a model and wish to apply to be a canidate, send Anita Claven and Syren Sorbet a copy of your resume and Headshot.

If you are not a model and just want to have a shot at prizes, enjoy some good music and/ chill out and dance with some awesome people, then feel free to join us.

A Note from the ubber talented Anita Claven :

I just want to first and foremost thank you all for the level of support I have been receiving while beginning the trek down this path of mine. I especially want to thank my friends who have stood behind me every time I've tried to get started and then lost my drive because something happened that made it so I had to put it off yet again. I am confident when I say, we are going to do it this time!


I also want to give a HUGE thank you out to my very sweet, and ultra beautiful manager. Syren, you have been AMAZING beyond words. I never thought when you stepped forward to help me, you would truly put so much drive behind doing so. I hope our working together flourishes into a beautiful creation. I know with the effort from both of us, there is nothing that could hold us back now.


I am still learning when it comes to Mesh and making sculpts, but I am happy to say I have a dear friend who has offered to help, whatever that so may mean and while the store and studio ultimately are my vision, it is nice to have people to share it with.


You may be wondering where the name comes from? After so many name and logo changes: Dark Rose Designs, Twisted Rose Fashions, Clockwork Heart Inc., well... it is about time I settle on something that just feels right. Avīci translated "Without Waves" is the lowest level of hell in the Buddhist faith, and the Japanese culture. It is where those who have created the worst of sins, may be reborn. Now, the darkness behind the name wasn't why I chose it. I chose it because it is beautiful. It is about a second chance. The rebirth of the soul is temporary and gives the offender a chance to work off his debts/karma. Rebirth in Avīci is a process of purification. That is the part that I fell in love with. We all need second chances sometimes.


We will be opening our doors soon. The studio will be first.
